They sure know their elephant facts: both Grade 2 classes have been learning all about elephants with English Teachers Morah Elyse Haber and Mrs. Karen Gurman. Yesterday the children had a special Skype session with a rep from The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee! “The students learned about what they do at the sanctuary, how they take care of retired elephants and the differences between species,” said Morah Elyse, who is also the Elementary director of English Studies and Technology Integration. In addition to asking questions, the students proved they are very well-versed in all things elephant.
