High School Principal's Message
The teenage years are a time of incredible intellectual and socio-emotional growth. At Hebrew Academy, we are here to support and nourish that growth by offering students opportunities to discover and explore their passions and their talents in a safe and caring environment.
Our Judaic Studies program gives our students a strong connection and understanding of Jewish texts, traditions, beliefs and culture through engaging classes in Talmud, Chumash, Navi, Tefila and Halacha and Israel Studies. Our Jewish Life programming is just as strong, extending the learning beyond the classroom. From student-led minyanim in the morning to after school chevrutot opportunities coupled with a strong experiential learning program, holiday programs and shabbatonim, our students are fully immersed in Jewish Life throughout the school year.
The rigorous General Studies program prepares our students to pursue post-secondary studies in the area of their choosing. With streaming options in mathematics, French, English, Science and Social Science, we ensure that all our students work to their full potential while receiving the support and attention they need. With many opportunities to explore their learning outside the classroom, our students successfully compete in mathematics, science, public speaking and book competitions each year.
Led by a team of caring and dedicated professionals, our challenging trilingual program strikes the perfect balance between religious, academic and socio-emotional development for Modern Orthodox Jewish teenagers both in and outside the classroom. We strive to prepare our students to become aware and engaged citizens, contributing members of society and future community leaders, living a life of torah, mitzvoth and ma’assim tovim. At Hebrew Academy, the school mission is not a poster on a wall but the prime directive by which we live each and every day.
I am honored to serve as your Principal and look very much forward to greeting you all!
