It was truly a memorable day as we marked Yom Hazikaron and paid tribute to the thousands of courageous chayalim and innocent victims of terror who were killed al kiddush Hashem. Our High School Bnot Sherut Nitsah Kezurer and Reut Adler featured giant pictures of young victims with barcodes linked to their biographies; Grades 4 to 6 attended a very poignant ceremony led by Elementary Bnot Sherut Danielle Kalfus and Hadar ben Shushan, Judaic Studies Director Jordana Levy and some of our Elementary student ambassadors. Music Director Amiel Bender shared his experience as a young chayal, and everyone sang Acheinu in unison to his musical accompaniment.

Our High School students were treated to an outstanding preview of last night’s KTM Yom Hazikaron ceremony, organized by our wonderful KTM staff. The performances were so real and so raw; we truly felt the emotion experienced in Israel on this terribly painful day. Kol Hakavod to everyone who made Yom Hazikaron so relevant and meaningful for our students and staff.
