Jewish Life

At the very core of Hebrew Academy’s raison d’être, Jewish Life aims to imbue students with a greater appreciation for our heritage, a love of Israel, and a strong commitment to Torah and Mitzvot. Our formal curriculum is complemented by many exciting informal learning opportunities such as volunteering at local non-profits, visits to seniors’ residences, fundraising and chessed projects, holiday festivities and workshops and multimedia presentations. We proudly partner with Kollel Torah MiTzion, Bnei Akiva, Israel’s Sherut Leumi program and NCSY to enhance Torah learning and leadership-building experiences. Highlights of our rich Jewish Life initiatives include Elementary Chagigot Siddur and Chumash, a yearlong Bat Mitzvah program and annual High School senior Shabbaton in the Laurentians.
