With a total of 30 participants who already passed the Regional leg of the International Bible Competition, Hebrew Academy had an incredible showing at this year’s National Chidon HaTanach yesterday in Toronto. Accompanied by Hebrew Academy parents and teachers, twenty Elementary students in Grades 5 and 6 and 10 High School students in Grades 7 through 11 participated in the Nationals, which began Sunday, May 15.
We are thrilled to wish Mazel Tov to Gabriel Mamane (Grade 9), who placed third in Toronto, and will represent Canada in Israel next year at the International Chidon!
Mazel Tov as well to Lev Wexler (5b) for placing in the Top 5 in the semi-finals, and to Nathaniel Ouazana (Grade 10) for placing in the Top 8 in the semi-finals!
