Face to face with The Fonz: In honour of World Read Aloud Day yesterday, Resource Room students in Grades 4 to 6 participated in a live broadcast and Twitter chat with Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver, NY-Times best selling authors of the Here’s Hank series, based on Winkler’s personal struggles with dyslexia. Many of the students love the series and were inspired by the authors’ messages of encouragement and perseverance. As for Winkler’s celebrity status, staff of a certain age were very excited to be part of the session!
