Elementary School

Hebrew Academy is dedicated to providing excellence in primary education guided by the principle of Torah U’mada. We value the complete integration of Judaic and General Studies with a strong emphasis on Medinat Yisrael.

Hebrew Academy has a rigorous curriculum that meets all Ministère de l’éducation du Québec (MEQ) requirements and standards. We are committed to implementing cutting-edge pedagogy and best-practice instructional strategies.

Differentiation is an integral part of instruction. Hebrew Academy Elementary School implements RTI, Response to Intervention. The fundamental principle is to maximize differentiation in order to meet all students’ needs within the classroom. Teachers have adopted such methodologies as the “Daily 5” and “Daily Café”, as well as universal screening using the Dibels program. Enrichment is provided both within and outside the classroom in many subject areas.

Student-life is enriched by our Kollel Torah Mitzion and B’not Sherut, who offer programming related to Israel, chagim and special events. Our goal is to strengthen our students’ love of Torah and Israel. Hebrew Academy is fortunate to have a dedicated team of teachers and staff who are deeply committed to our children’s education and development.
