The past two jam-packed days were truly wonderful as students and faculty celebrated Chol Hamoed with myriad festive activities. High School marked the chag with meaningful divrei Torah and The Big Jewish Question Fair, simcha dancing, exciting field trips, a movie night, Simchat Beit Hashoeva and a delicious festive breakfast.
A second movie night, Simchat Beit Hashoeva, KTM Sukkah Jeopardy, Team Teva program and Sukkah Design Challenge are still to come!
Meanwhile, Elementary students came dressed in their finest white shirts in honour of the chag and ate lunch in the school Sukkah yesterday. A number of grades visited peers’ Sukkot, and some classes joined High School for dancing in the Beit Midrash. Grade 5 was invited to Morah Rivka Benarroch’s Sukkah, 6C went bowling, and 6B brought simcha to the seniors at the Alzheimer Groupe.
Peer Sukkah visits continue tomorrow and 4A will visit Le Waldorf to share uplifting shirim with the residents!
