In the spirit of Tu B’Shvat, students, faculty and staff wore green and floral clothing yesterday and celebrated Rosh Hashana La’Ilanot with creative programming all week long. The KTM team and Bnei Akiva Shlichim Eli and Sivan Veresh led dynamic High School activities that included learning and games, while Elementary Director of Judaic Studies Jordana Levy and Grade 6 Hebrew Enrichment students Kinneret Finegold, Talia Shostak and Shireen Cale organized games and art projects for students in Grades 1 through 6. Kindergarten and Grade 2 designed exquisite fruit creations, and Grade 6 Boys went head to head in a basketball game that pitted teams Nitzanim against Shivat Haminim. Bnot Mitzvah and their fathers participated in a meaningful evening punctuated by treats, shira, and a shiur presented by Rosh KTM Rabbi Eliyau Gateno. Grades 5, 6, 10 and 11 attended a compelling BJEC program with MK and former Montrealer Michal Cotler-Wunsh, and all Elementary students were treated to fruit smoothies and flower-shaped cookies!
